WEST POINT, N.Y. - Three top-five finishes highlighted the return to competition for American University swimming and diving after the winter break. The Eagles competed on Saturday against host Army West Point as well as Old Dominion and George Mason.

MEET RESULTS

• On the women's side, Kyra Manson earned AU's top finish of the day by taking fourth in the 100 butterfly in 58.55.
• Ellie Kight swam the 500 freestyle and turned in a fifth-place finish in 5:12.74.
• Liam Riebling placed fifth for the men's team in the 100 butterfly in a time of 50.65. Teammate Yannick Bohbot-Dridi was close behind, placing eighth in 51.22.
• Both Riebling and Jonathan Quick placed in the top 10 in the men's 200 butterfly, while Ryan Jolley and Natalie Hamlet accomplished the same feat in the women's 200 fly by placing seventh and eighth, respectively.
• The trio of Malak Hattab, Alex Brosvik and Hana Weber placed eighth, ninth and 10th, respectively, in the women's 100 breaststroke.
• Natalie Hamlet and Kight took seventh and eighth in the 200 freestyle.
• Connor Chidsey turned in AU's best diving performance, taking seventh place in both the 1-meter and 3-meter.

UP NEXT

• The Eagles will compete in a Patriot League Championships preview, heading to the Navy Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m.
