- The two teams faced off in a close battle last season at the Terrapin Invitational in College Park, Md., with the Blue Hens picking up the 1-0 win after an early goal. That was only the second meeting between AU and Delaware since 1984 after the Hens visited D.C. on October 23, 2016.
- This will be the first trip to Newark for the Eagles since 1984.
