ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Tori Haviland and Shannon Exley earned first-place finishes last week at the ECAC Long Course Invitational swimming event hosted by Navy.
Haviland went 2:13.95 in the final of the women's 200-yard freestyle, cutting 2-1/2 seconds off her prelims time. She also finished second in the 200 butterfly in 2:26.25.
Exley won the 200 IM, going 2:35.85 in the morning prelims.
Paris Wood finished second in the 100 backstroke (1:04.72) and 200 back (2:22.431), with teammate
Caylee Watson placing fifth in the 100 back (1:07.65).
Lena Mentyka went 29.54 in the prelims of the women's 50 free, while
Sam Fromkin swam 2:16.51 in the men's 200 back.
On Saturday at the ECAC Championships, sophomore
Fiona Caulfield placed 12th in the 3-meter diving competition, scoring 198.45.
