ANNAPOLIS, Md. – American University will head to the Naval Academy for the remainder of the week to participate in the 2016 Patriot League Swimming and Diving Championships.
The meet opens Wednesday with a mid-afternoon session of men's diving and a pair of relays beginning at 6 p.m.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, preliminary heats begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by finals at 6 p.m.
American University will be attempting to improve on its seventh-place finish for the women and ninth-place finish for the men from last year's championships.
AU will have its top chances in stroke, with depth and strength particularly in backstroke and butterfly events.
