The American University Department of Athletics has announced a
three-year contract extension for Head Lacrosse Coach Emma Wallace, which runs through the
2016 season. Wallace had served as the Interim Head Coach for the

AU lacrosse and am honored that I have the chance to keep working
with a great group of student athletes who have proven their level
of competitiveness on a national scale on and off the field,”
said Wallace. “I would like to thank the AU community and Dr.
Walker for trusting me with this program and I look forward to
making the most out of this opportunity.”

program's first-ever Patriot League Rookie of the Year

All-Patriot League honorees.
“We are so excited to have Emma continue to lead our
program for many years to come,” said Director of Athletics
and Recreation Dr. Billy Walker. “In just one
season with our program, Emma clearly demonstrated the type of
superb leader, mentor and role model she is to our student-athletes
both on and off the field.”

University of California– Berkeley and the Head Coach of the
BearLax Lacrosse Club in Berkeley, Calif. She previously served as
