After nearly two weeks off from competition, the American University swimming & diving team returns to the water at George Mason's Patriot Invitational. The three-day event begins Thursday, November 15, and concludes on Saturday, November 17.
10 teams will be in action at the Invitational including George Mason, George Washington, Howard, Ohio, Richmond, Seton Hall, Shippensburg, UMBC and UNC-Wilmington.

The Eagles last competed in a pair of dual meets against Patriot League foes, Bucknell and Navy. The men's team was led by junior Bobby Ballance who captured to the 100 backstroke title. Sophomore diver Melissa Parker paced the women from the board, recording a pair of third-place finishes.
After the Patriot Invite, the Eagles will have their sights set on the U.S. Nationals on November 29 to December 1, which close out the 2012 portion of the schedule. Competition resumes after winter break with dual meets against Georgetown and James Madison on January 12.
