Erin Koch and Octavia Rinehardt competed at the 2011 ECAC & IC4A Championships in Princeton, N.J. over the weekend, with Koch placing sixth in the 1,500 meter run and Rinehardt taking seventh in the 5,000.

Koch finished her race in a time of 4:27.38, nearly matching her school record of 4:22.56 in the event. Rinehardt, meanwhile, crossed the line in 16:42.10, just slower than her personal record of 16:34.26. This was the first time a member of American's track and field program has competed at the meet since Rinehardt posted a time of 17:13.58 in the 5,000 in 2009.
