Pelletier Finishes Third in 200 Back in Final Day of Patriot League Swimming and Diving Championships

Matt Pelletier recorded a third-place finish in the 200 back to highlight the action on the third and final day of the Patriot League swimming and diving championships. Both the men's and women's squads completed the meet in sixth place in the final conference standings.

One day after capturing the title in the 100 back, Pelletier earned a third-place result in the 200 back in 1:50.48. Andrew Jackwin finished in 15th in the event in 2:01.81. In the 200 breast, Chris Meadows (2:11.53) and Ming Ong (2:11.75) recorded 14th and 15th place finishes, respectively.

In the women's competition, Eleanor Clay led the way with a fifth-place finish in the 200 breast in 2:22.03. Dory Isaacs recorded a sixth-place result in the 100 free (57.92), while Jess Ballance came in seventh in the 200 fly (2:07.98). Shelby Legel and Leah Breen also placed, registering 12th and 13th place finishes in the 200 breast (2:25.21) and 100 free (52.91), respectively.

Both the men's and women's teams finished in sixth place in the final team standings. Host-school Navy captured the titles in both the men's and women's competitions.
