WASHINGTON - In the final race of her Patriot League career, senior captain Kaitlin Moughty earned her elusive first conference title, claiming the 200 back to highlight the final day of the PL Championships Sunday afternoon at Bucknell University. In addition, junior Meghan Thiel won her second title of the meet in the 1650 free for the seventh-place women's team, while the sixth-place men had two finalists.

Moughty finished her league career with a dominating win in the 200 back. Coming into the final with the top time, Moughty swam the third-fastest mark in school history, a 2:02.02 to win by more than one and a half seconds.

Earlier in the day, Thiel cruised to her third straight 1650 free title. Her time of 16:45.10 was almost 20 seconds in front of second-place. Thiel ended the meet with two first-places and a second-place.

The women's team had a handful of athletes make consolation finals. Erin Devlin finished fourth in the consolation 200 breast final in a season best 2:27.78. Freshman Michelle Holleran and sophomore Julia Anstadt just missed making the consolation final, finishing 17th and 18th overall. Dan Nagelberg also made a final for the Eagles. The captain swam to a 10 second personal best in the men's 1650 free, finishing eighth overall. The time is also the eighth-fastest in school history.

In the men's 200 back, freshman Matt Pelletier won the consolation final in 1:55.73, a lifetime best and just outside of the school top-ten all-time. Fellow freshman Jon Bateman took fifth in the consolation final, also in a lifetime best 1:56.58. In the 100 free consolation final, captain Joe Coronato took sixth (14th overall) in 47.50, just off his personal best 47.32 set in the prelims.
