MEET NOTES

• Koenig qualified in 11th position for Saturday's consolation final in the women's 200 back and placed 12th in the evening session. She went 2:02.75 in the morning to post AU's best mark of the season. Ellen Johnson had a career-best 2:05.29 in the prelims, improving her time that was already 11th on AU's top-16. Like Johnson, Ryan Jolley also improved her season-best by five seconds.

Ellie Kight went 52.50 in the 100 free, one of a number of season-bests in that event. Abby Longstaff moved into 14th with a season-best 52.90, while Hannah Andress and Ally Bachart also had season-bests.

Melissa Burnham posted 18:10.95 in the 1,650 free, comfortably a season-best.

• Kight's leadoff leg in the 400 free relay was 52.12, which puts her in seventh in that event at AU after cutting a full second off her previous 100 free mark. She joined Ryan Jolley, Longstaff and Jolley in a fifth-place finish at 3:30.07, moving that quartet into sixth all-time at AU.

Sam Fromkin went 1:54.60 for AU's best mark of the season in the men's 200 backstroke, while Matt Bean also had a season-best.

• All four Eagles who swam in the 100 freestyle prelims – Yannick Bohbot-Dridi, Langston Carter, Dillane Wehbe and Blaine Johnson – had season-bests, with Bohbot-Dridi going 47.14 for the Eagles' best mark of the year.

Garrett Sooter posted 2:11.63 in the 200 breaststroke, cutting eight seconds off his season-best to post AU's best mark.

• Riebling had a career-best 1:51.69 in qualifying for the 200 butterfly, with his mark moving him from ninth to eighth on AU's list. Adam Kawut cut eight seconds off his previous season-best.

Luke Bennett cut 19 seconds off his season-best in the men's 1,650 free, coming within a half-second off a spot in AU's top-16.

Yannick Bohbot-Dridi, Liam Riebling, Sam Fromkin and Scott Callander placed seventh in the men's 400 free relay. Their time of 3:07.45 was a season-best by three seconds and was 15th all-time at AU. It was the first time added to the all-time top-16 since 2013. Bohbot-Dridi's lead time of 46.77 is 14th all-time at AU, only the second addition to the list in the 100 free since 2013.

• Navy won both team championships, out-distancing Army West Point on the women's side by 345 points and scoring a 256-point win over the Black Knights for the men's title.
