First-Year Head Coach Phil Casella Signs All-State Goalkeeper Riley Molbury for 2026

WASHINGTON - First-year head coach of American University women's soccer, Phil Casella, has announced the addition of goalkeeping recruit Riley Molbury for the 2026 season. Molbury is an all-state keeper out of Sparta High School in New Jersey, and is the ninth freshman who will join the Eagles in the fall.

"Riley is a high-level goalkeeper with great instincts and a strong presence in goal," said Casella. "She's been a proven leader and competitor, and we're excited to welcome her to American."

Molbury broke her school's record for saves with 600, and was named Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex MVP and Team MVP. She's a three-time all-conference first team selection and was named to the ECNL All-Star Team with her PDA Sporting Club Premier team.
