BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League has announced that the Boston University at American men's basketball game scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 28, will be aired on CBS Sports Network as part of the League's television package.
Live coverage of the Terriers at Eagles is scheduled for noon ET at Bender Arena in Washington, D.C. Jason Knapp will call play-by-play, and Mo Cassara will provide analysis on the final day of the Patriot League men's basketball regular season.
American (15-13, 8-7 PL) will host Boston University (13-15, 8-7 PL), looking to sweep the season series. AU edged the Terriers, 64-62, on Jan. 3, with junior guard Greg Jones leading four Eagles in double-figures with 16 points. The meeting was one of American's four games decided by three or fewer points, and one of three for Boston University, which ranks second in NCAA Division I with six overtime games played.
Boston University has been among the nation's best 3-point shooting teams, ranking seventh in NCAA Division I (39.9%), led by junior guard Michael McNair, who ranks fourth in the nation, shooting 46% from 3-point range. The reigning Patriot League champion Eagles have been among the best defensive teams in the League, ranking second in scoring defense (71.5 ppg) and first in steals per game (7.8).
The 2026 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship will begin with first-round games on Tuesday, March 3, and continue with quarterfinal-round action on Thursday, March 5. Each game in the first two rounds will be streamed live on ESPN+. The semifinal round will be played on Sunday, March 8, and televised nationally on CBS Sports Network. The PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship Game is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, March 11, with live coverage on CBS Sports Network.
