Cooper Nunn were selected to the Preseason All-Patriot League Men's Soccer Team. American was picked to finish third in the League, as well.
Starting in all 16 games for the Eagles in 2023, Boyle scored six goals, adding an assist, and he was selected to the 2023 Patriot League Second Team.
Hershey appeared in all 16 games for American in 2023, scoring six goals with two assists. He was a First Team All-Patriot League selection.
Rodriguez scored three goals with five assists in 16 appearances in 2023, earning a spot on the Patriot League First Team.
Nunn anchored the Eagles' defense, leading American in minutes played in 2023, as he earned a spot on the Patriot League Third Team.
Loyola Maryland received the most first-place votes, earning the top spot in the League's preseason poll with 150 points (12 first-place votes), while defending champions Boston University come in second with 142 points (eight first-place votes), with American close behind at 135 points.
American will kick off its 2024 campaign when it hosts California Baptist at the Maryland SoccerPlex at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22.
The preseason poll and individual awards were voted on by the men's soccer coaches and sports information directors from each institution. Coaches and SID were not allowed to vote for their own team.
