WEST POINT, N.Y. – The American University men's soccer team earned its second win of the Patriot League season with a 2-1 victory at Army thanks to two goals from senior Dilane Zouantcha.
 
QUICK NOTABLES

• Zouantcha's first goal came in the 51st minute, a spectacular back-heel flick that snuck by the goalkeeper to give American a 1-0 lead.
• Zouantcha scored again just five minutes later, a header off a cross from junior Toshi Davis.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• In a relatively quiet first half, American fired six shots, requiring two saves from Army's goalkeeper.
• Army only managed one shot in the first half.
• Zouantcha's first goal was perhaps the goal of the year for American, a back-heel flick for Zouantcha's first goal of the season to give the Eagles the lead.
• Zouantcha's next goal was perfectly placed with his head after a cross from Davis to give AU a 2-0 lead in the 56th minute.
• Having struggled to hang on to leads this season, American turned to its defense, but Army scored to make it 2-1 in the 82^nd minute.
• American was able to hang on to possession for most of the final seven minutes, giving AU its second win of the Patriot League season.
