Notable

  • The tide turned in AU's favor in a big way in the second set, and the Eagles never trailed. They jumped out to an 11-3 lead and ultimately won 25-17 behind six kills from Berisha and five from Uzen.
  • In the third set, which was tied seven times with three lead changes, the final stretch was a dramatic one. American earned the first set point, but later had to fight off three set points for Lafayette before finally getting the 29-27 win after a Holly Hopkins ace and a Lafayette attack error.
