BETHLEHEM, Pa. - For a third straight week, junior outside hitter Zeynep Uzen of American University volleyball has been named the Patriot League's Player of the Week. The Eagles are on a run, having won six straight conference matches, with Uzen leading the way.

Uzen recorded her 12th double-double of the season with 21 kills and 12 digs in a four-set win vs. Bucknell on Oct. 29, also hitting .400 in that match. She then recorded at least 20 kills for a fourth straight match with 22 kills in a four-set win vs. Lafayette on Oct. 30. Her 4.90 kills per set in PL matches ranks second in the league.

American will play two matches on the road this weekend. First up is a 6 p.m. contest at league-leading Colgate on Friday, Nov. 5.
