WASHINGTON — American University women's soccer sophomore goalkeeper Ryleigh Brown was selected this week's GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week after her shutout performance at Monmouth on Sunday.

Brown made six saves in the scoreless tie for her third shutout of the season. Brown is third in the Patriot League with a 0.60 goals against average. 

American will host Boston University to open Patriot League play on Sunday at 1 p.m.
