the game, before Munoz hit a three-point jumper to give the Eagles

forth until Randolph-Macon was able to tie the game at 48 as Adam

Randolph-Macon's Desgain brought them within one, but Hinkle
answered right back with a jumper as the Eagles gained momentum off
a Munoz block and Jolivette steal with a little over a minute left.
A lay-up by Fisher in the final seconds secured the Eagles the win,
despite a three from Desgain at the buzzer to make it 62-61.
"You'd love to play a great game and not have it come down the
last play, but I think ultimately we might actually get more out of
it by playing in this kind of game," Head Coach Jeff Jones said following the game.
"Each opportunity for us that we take the court, whether it's
in a game or practice, hopefully we can learn and hopefully we can
get a little bit better."
American shot 49.1 percent from the floor and 31.3 percent from
three-point range, while limiting the Yellow Jackets to 38.2
percent and 21.4 percent from beyond the arc. The Eagles held the
