Senior Greta
Wicklund ran to a 10th-place finish on Saturday at the
University of Delaware Blue & Gold Invitational, leading the
Eagles to a fifth place showing in a field of 14 teams.
Wicklund posted a time of 19:33.58, running a pace of 6:17.8 in
the 5k event. She was joined by classmate Rachel
Forcino who finished 24th, recording a time of
20:02.64. Sophomore Lauren
Scholl (20:35.55), freshmen Natalie
Omundson (21:15.50) and Kellie
Quinn (21:20.32), junior Haleigh
Duggan (22:13.90), sophomore Tara
Jakubik (23:04.07) and freshman Anna
Scalamogna (24:46.20) each also competed in the event.
American will now begin preparation for the Patriot League
Championships which will be run on Saturday, October 31, in
Hamilton, N.Y.
