Friday as the junior dished out 32 Eagle assists and was five for

the Eagles extended their advantage to 10 points, 21-11, before
earning game point. Sukaj, Nash and Cassandra
Ricketts each tallied four kills in game two and Nash put up a
match high 12 assists.
Ann Recht
entered the match in game three for the first time and quickly made
her presence felt. The sophomore recorded three block assists in
the game's first eight plays and helped AU to an 8-0 lead. American
finished the match on a 12-6 run, earning match point at 30-16. The
match's last point came fittingly when Nash found Sukaj for her
sixth kill of the game.
The Eagles will take the rest of the weekend off and return to
the court Wednesday, Oct. 31, when they host the New Jersey
Institute of Technology at 7 p.m. The match will be the second to
last home match of the season for AU, which has amassed a 13-1
record in Bender this year.
