Personal: Parents are Melesio and Paige … Father Melesio played baseball at Eastern Illinois and coaches U16 and U17 Select Basketball teams for the Illinois Lady Lightning … Grandfather, Dick Parker, played quarterback at Eastern Illinois University and is in the Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame … Was a member of the High Honor Roll and the National Honor Society, and earned the 5.0 award at Plainfield North … In her spare time, Lexi enjoys spending time with family and friends … She also coaches third and fourth grade basketball teams at Illinois Lady Lightning and enjoys volunteering her time with the special needs community; she is a volunteer coach for the Plainfield Angels Baseball League which provides opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities to play baseball, regardless of their abilities.
