Nicole Krusen

Nicole Krusen finished her sixth season as the Director of Operations with the American University women's basketball program in 2021-22. In her role, Krusen oversees all travel and accommodations for the team along with a variety of gameday and practice functions.

Krusen came to American from Virginia Tech, where she spent a year as the video coordinator for the Hokies' women's basketball program.

She is a 2013 graduate of Loyola University Maryland, was a four-year letterwinner for the Greyhounds, serving as a captain during her senior season (2013-14). A two-year starter, she graduated as the program's career leader in both free throw percentage (.859) and three-point field goals made.

Following her graduation from Loyola, Krusen spent a year playing at National University Ireland, Galway. There she averaged 21.9 points per game, helping the team to an undefeated regular season and earning a spot on the Irish Colleges Select Team. Additionally, she competed for the NUIG Mystics in the Irish National League, averaging 15.9 points per game.

A native of Rockville, Md., Krusen attended Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in Washington, D.C., earning first-team All-Independent School League AA honors all four years. During her high school career, she scored 1,638 career points while leading her team to an overall record of 105-21.
