2023-24 (Junior): Did not play.

2022-23 (Sophomore):  Saw action in seven games his sophomore season….Made season debut against UAlbany, coming in for four minutes of action and recording a season-high two points (11/29)…Totaled a season-high one rebound twice, once vs UAlbany (11/29) and once at Bucknell (2/13).

2021-22 (Freshman): Saw action in 13 games as a freshman… Scored nine points, making all three field goal attempts against Colgate (2/5), adding career-high three rebounds... Career-night against Lafayette (2/2), making all six field goal attempts en route to 13 points... Saw action in seven minutes against Lehigh (1/1), scoring two points... First career points and assist came against Longwood (11/19)... Made career debut at Georgetown (11/16), logging five minutes and grabbing two rebounds against the Hoyas.
 
High School: Attended St. Augustine Preparatory School in Richland, N.J. … Same high school as AU’s all-time leading scorer Sa’eed Nelson and current assistant coach Scott Greenman… 2021 All-South Jersey First Team… 2021 Press of Atlantic City Boys Basketball Player of the Year after averaging 19.1 points and 10 rebounds per game… All-Jersey Sports Zone Non-Public Team… Despite no league or state playoffs due to COVID-19, St. Augustine finished 2020-21 season with 13-2 record and ranked No. 1 in the Press Elite 11… Nearly averaged a double-double in junior season, netting 16.1 points and 9.8 rebounds per game… First Team All-Conference… Led the Hermits to 2020 South Jersey Non-Public A Championship… Played in Cape Atlantic League All-Star Game… Finished career with over 1,000 points.  
 
Personal: Majoring in business administration… Brother, Tim, was part of two national championship teams at Villanova before transferring to Adelphi for his final season of eligibility to play with Matt’s other brother, Andrew… Andrew is a senior at Adelphi entering the 2022-23 campaign… Mother, Jeanine, played basketball at St. Joseph’s.
