Williams Named AU Student-Athlete of the Week, Presented by GEICO

Senior Ryan Williams was named the AU Student-Athlete of the Week Presented by GEICO, Department of Athletics officials announced Monday.

The Burbank, Calif. native won the 5,000 meter run by more than 20 seconds at the Maryland Invitational on Saturday. Williams crossed the line in a time of 14:49.62 to earn his first individual title of the outdoor season.

The Eagles will next compete at the Colonial Relays on April 6 and 7 in Williamsburg, Va.
