Why she chose American: “I really wanted to go to a school in the U.S., and I felt that American it would offer me a great field hockey experience along with its good academics. I was really keen to go to a university based in a city, and when I visited Washington, D.C., and AU I immediately liked both. I was impressed with the fantastic welcome I received. The coaches, students, and staff were all so friendly and kind, and I felt that I could fit in well. The facilities are great and the academic support for student-athletes is excellent. I feel that I will be able to achieve a good balance both on the field and in the classroom."
