WASHINGTON - The American University volleyball team remains undefeated in Patriot League play at 4-0 after two home wins this past weekend. Leading the way for AU was senior Salme Hollas, who has been named the Eagle of the Week for AU Athletics after her efforts in wins over Lehigh and Lafayette.

Hollas averaged 4.13 kills per set and 2.25 digs per set for the week, posting a double-double of 16 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 win over Lafayette while hitting an impressive .371 in the second match for the Eagles. With 2.96 kills per set this season, Hollas ranks fifth among all players in the Patriot League. American has won five straight matches and will play another two in a row at home later this week against Loyola Maryland and Navy.
