WASHINGTON – Coming off a road trip that took them to upstate New York and down to North Carolina, the Eagles of American University men's soccer are back at home to continue Patriot League play against Loyola Maryland on Saturday.

Parking on Campus

• Parking on campus is actively monitored seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Fans can buy a season-long parking pass for the Bender Arena Sports Center Garage (through Nov. 22) through the Athletics Ticketing website HERE.
• Parking is available on a per-event basis.
  • Event Parking: $10 per contest for games held after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends (available through the PayByPhone app in any garage using code (211950).
  • Hourly Parking: Standard hourly garage rates apply from 8 am-10 pm in the Katzen Arts Center and School of International Service garages.

Concessions Now Available

• Fans can now head over to the concessions stand inside the newly-completed Meltzer Center for food, snacks, and Pepsi beverages.
• Fans 21+ and over can purchase alcohol on the second floor at the Meltzer Terrace.

What to Know About American: 1-4-2 (0-1-2)

• The Eagles are coming off a challenging road stretch with little rest, traveling to Colgate last Saturday and going south to North Carolina on Tuesday for a non-conference matchup.
• American got out to a 1-0 start in Patriot League play with a win over Colgate in dramatic fashion, as junior midfielder Chris Sullivan netted the game-winning goal in the 87th minute. 
• It was AU's best offensive effort of the season overall, registering a season-high 19 shots on putting three on goal. 
• The Eagles suffered a 2-0 loss at UNC, battling with the Tar Heels before conceding a penalty in the 72nd minute to open up the scoring. 
• Sullivan has been the team's most dangerous scoring threat, leading the team in shots with 10 and seven on goal. He earned the Patriot League Midfielder of the Week honor after his game-winner against Colgate. 
• Sophomore Evan Tubbs has been strong for AU in goal, making five saves in back-to-back matches and totaling 29 on the year–second most in the PL. He now has three clean sheets, with a 1.43 GA to his name. 
• Head coach Zach Samol has used the youth on his roster, with three freshmen earning consistent playing time. Henrick Boahen has played in all seven games, taking four shots and putting two on goal. Yuta Phoenix has appeared in six matches in the midfield, and Rohan Chivukula has also played in six on the back line. 

What to Know About Loyola: 1-6-0 (0-1)

• The Greyhounds are coming off a 2-0 loss to Lehigh last Saturday at home to open up Patriot League play. They created more chances, holding a 15 to 10 advantage in shots, but Anotn Kinnunen made four saves for Lehigh and the Mountain Hawks found the back of the net twice in the second half. 
• Loyola's lone win came at home against Mount St. Mary's by a score of 3-0 on Sept. 4. The team has a goal differential of -11 so far. 
• The Greyhounds have a young squad that includes 12 freshmen, several of which lead the team statistically through their first few matches.
• Freshman midfielder Nino Venezia has a team-high two goals on the season, including one in the win against The Mount. 
• Midfielder Lukas Cortes has been one of Loyola's most active attacking players, leading the team with 14 shots and seven shots on goal.
• Between the posts, Felix Huebner has made 25 saves in his first season so far. He's appeared in every match, earning starts in the last four.
