WASHINGTON - After scoring the game-winning goal for American University men's soccer in the final minutes of the Eagles' Patriot League season opener at Colgate, junior Chris Sullivan has been named the Eagle of the Week for AU Athletics. Sullivan's 87th-minute goal gave AU a 1-0 win against the Raiders.

Sullivan played a ball off a volley and slotted his shot perfectly into the bottom right corner of the net to break the scoreless tie in the 87th minute. The goal gave the Eagles their first win of the season, and earned them a 1-0 start to Patriot League play. It was the first goal of Sullivan's career.
