WASHINGTON – The final non-conference game of the season has American University women's soccer hosting William & Mary at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 13 as the Eagles look to gain some momentum heading into Patriot League play.

Parking on Campus

• Parking on campus is actively monitored seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Fans can buy a season-long parking pass for the Bender Arena Sports Center Garage (through Nov. 22) through the Athletics Ticketing website HERE.
• Parking is available on a per-event basis.
  • Event Parking: $10 per contest for games held after 5 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends (available through the PayByPhone app in any garage using code (211950).
  • Hourly Parking: Standard hourly garage rates apply from 8 am-10 pm in the Katzen Arts Center and School of International Service garages.

Concessions Now Available

• Fans can now head over to the concessions stand inside the newly-completed Meltzer Center for food, snacks, and Pepsi beverages.
• Fans 21+ and over can purchase alcohol on the second floor at the Meltzer Terrace.

What to Know About American

• AU is under the direction of first-year head coach Phil Casella who previously spent nine years at Wagner College, leading the Seahawks to the NEC Championship in 2025.
• AU's co-captains are seniors Bella Miller (forward) and Bella Vozar (defender). Vozar started in all 17 games last season, while Miller returned from injury to play in the final eight.
• The Eagles have 10 freshmen on a roster of 29. Freshman Riley Molbury has played in six of seven games, averaging a PL-best 6.5 saves per contest, while Piper Garcia has started in six of seven games and is one of the team leaders in minutes played.
• AU opened its season with 2-1  losses at La Salle and UMBC before a 1-1 draw at Richmond.
• Seniors Lauren Sanders and Bella Miller have both scored penalty kick goals for AU (two for Sanders), while junior Mia De Villegas-Decker scored the Eagles' goal at Richmond, and sophomore Jenna Etienne-Valtrin scored at GW.
• Most recently, AU lost 3-0 to Longwood at home on August 23, lost 2-1 to UNC Greensboro on Sept. 3, earned a 0-0 draw against Elon on Sept. 6 behind a season-high 10 saves for Riley Molbury, and lost 5-1 at GW on Sept. 10.

What to Know About William & Mary

• William & Mary is in its eighth season under head coach Julie Shackford after going 7-7-4 last season with a 5-2-2 mark in the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA).
• Senior midfielder Lindsay Wilson returned after totaling 10 points with four goals and two assists last season. Sophomore forward Ellie Leffler, the reigning CAA Rookie of the Year, tallied three goals and an assist for seven points, while sophomore midfielder Mia Abbey added a goal and three assists.
• Abbey and Leffler lead W&M so far this season with three goals apiece, while Wilson has scored once for the Tribe.
• Gwen Doughty and Mia Tegeris have split time in goal for William & Mary. Doughty has 16 saves and eight goals allowed, while Tegeris has 13 saves and five goals allowed.
• Most recently, W&M earned a 2-2 draw against VCU on the day the Tribe celebrated Senior Day, and Wilson, a senior, scored both goals in that contest.

Series History

• American has not beaten William & Mary in 11 previous tries, going 0-9-2 against the Tribe.
• Last season, the Eagles lost 3-1 on the road, and in 2022 the teams tied 0-0 at Reeves Field.
