Personal: Parents are Henry and Tara Garcia… Both parents played soccer at American… Father Henry played from 1995-99 and made an Elite 8 appearance… Mother Tara played from 1997-2000 and captained the team as a junior and senior… Off the field, enjoys volunteering with the Special Olympics and Best Buddies, supporting individuals with disabilities… Plans to major in international relations at AU... Chose American "because both of my parents attended and played here. I was drawn to the university’s strong academics, competitive soccer program, and all that Washington, D.C., has to offer!”
