WASHINGTON - With six points scored in a 38-10 victory for American University wrestling against Morgan State, freshman RJ Robinson has been named the Eagle of the Week for the week of Feb. 2-8. Robinson pinned his opponent in the second period while wrestling up a weight class for AU.

Normally a 184-pounder, Robinson competed at 197 against Morgan State. He had a 9-1advantage overf Eric Washington Jr. before turning him over with a minute remaining in the second frame, keeping his back to the mat for the fall. It was the second collegiate pin for Robinson, and his first in a dual meet for the Eagles to improve his dual record to 2-1.

The Eagles are on the road at Bucknell on Saturday, Feb. 15 before returning home to face Drexel on Saturday, Feb. 21.
