WASHINGTON - For the second time this season, freshman Madden Collins of American University men's basketball has been named AU Athletics' Eagle of the Week, presented by Gregorio's. Collins scored a game-high 22 points in a win over Army.

In AU's other game last week, Collins scored 16 points at Lehigh, finishing the week with a 19 points per game average. He made 9-of-11 from the field (81.8 percent) against Army, also dishing three assists. Collins has scored 20 or more points in a game six times this season and has reached double digits in scoring in eight of the last nine games. He totaled six rebounds, four assists, and three steals for the week.

The Eagles will play their next two games on the road, starting with a 7 p.m. contest at Bucknell on Wednesday, Feb. 18.
