WASHINGTON - Director of Basketball Operations Matt Parker and Video, Scouting, and Analytics Coordinator Sammy Schulman of the American University men's basketball staff have both been named to the 7th Annual Silver Waves Media Top Support Staff in College Basketball List.

Parker is in his fourth season on staff with head coach Duane Simpkins, handling all of the day-to-day and travel operations for the program. Schulman is in his second year in his current role after spending his final two undergraduate years at American as student manager and head manager.

"Coach Parker has been an invaluable part of our staff," said Simpkins. "He has grown tremendously from year one til now, helping us with our organization, helping us connect with people across campus and off campus. Sammy has been tremendous for our staff as it relates to getting quantitative data that helps us win basketball games and put us in a better position to prepare for games. He's super, super smart, and very inquisitive. I'm excited about both of these young men."
