WASHINGTON - Two more wins for American University volleyball have the Eagles undefeated in the Patriot League at 11-0, with a lot of credit going to AU Athletics' Eagle of the Week Deniz Dakak. The junior setter and 2025 Patriot League Player of the Year continues to set up the offense for success in every match, while also contributing heavily to the defensive effort.

Dakak averaged 11.43 assists per set in wins against Army and Holy Cross, as the Eagles beat the Black Knights 3-0 and the Crusaders 3-1. She also posted 3.43 digs per set with double-doubles in both matches, tallied four blocks, and served up five aces. For the season, Dakak averages nearly two more assists per set than anyone else in the Patriot League, and ranks third in service aces per set.
