WASHINGTON - Leading American University women's basketball to a 1-1 week by averaging a double-double of 14 points and 18.5 rebounds, freshman Charlotte Tuhy has been named the Eagle of the Week, presented by Gregorio's. Tuhy's 22 rebounds in a win over Colgate rank third all-time in a single game in program history.

In the overtime win against the Raiders, Tuhy posted a double-double of 17 points and 22 boards, also tallying four steals. She played for 42 of the game's 45 minutes. Tuhy's 22 rebounds are tied for fourth among all players in NCAA Division I in a single game so far this season. Later in the week at Holy Cross, Tuhy finished with another double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds.

The Eagles will be back in action at Navy in a 7 p.m. game on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
