WASHINGTON - After leading American University men's basketball in scoring over the course of a 3-1 week, freshman guard Kade Sebastian has been named the Eagle of the Week for the week of Nov. 24-30. AU played four home games in all and went 2-1 at it's own Capital Thanksgiving Classic with wins over Maine and Longwood.

Sebastian led AU with 13.3 points per game overall, hitting a blistering 71.4 percent from the field (15-for-21). He made 8-of-13 attempts from long range (61.5 percent), posted seven steals, and eight rebounds. He scored 20 points vs. Marywood on 7-of-8 shooting, 15 points vs. Maine on 4-of-6 shooting, and nine points vs. Siena on 3-of-3 shooting.

For the week, Sebastian did not commit a single turnover in four games while tying for the team lead with 10 total assists (2.5 assists per game).

The Eagles have two games remaining in their six-game homestand, and will host Drexel on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m.
