Women's Soccer Beats Binghamton for Second Consecutive Win

BOYDS, Md. – The American University women's soccer team took control early and even extended its lead as it defeated Binghamton on Sunday, marking the first time the Eagles have won back-to-back games since 2021.
 
QUICK NOTABLES
  • American was on the board early, as senior Brooke Steel served up sophomore Lailah Stewart, whose shot was blocked. Junior Phoebe Merrigan was there to collect the rebound and finish for her first career goal.
  • Later in the half, American was on the board again, as Lailah Stewart took the ball from midfield all by herself to finish with her right foot for American's second goal.
