Box Score WORCESTER, Mass. – The American University men's basketball team led by as many as 13 points in the second half but was unable to hold on as it fell on the road to Holy Cross, 58-56.
American led by 2 with under 30 seconds to play, but the Eagles committed a flagrant foul, giving Holy Cross two free throws and the ball. The Crusaders made both and were fouled again on the same possession to win the game. The Eagles were once again without four of their seven leading scorers, as they recover from injuries.
