Avery Klingensmith and senior
Brooke Steel were both named to the Patriot League Women's Soccer Academic All-League Team for their strong performances both on the field and in school. It is the first such honor for both student-athletes.
Klingensmith, an American Government and justice & law double major, has a cumulative GPA of 3.98. She scored two goals and tallied one assist this season, starting in every game and playing the full 90 minutes in 12 of 15 contests. She's a two-time Patriot League Academic Honor Roll selection and was a CSC Academic All-District honoree in 2023. Klingensmith also serves as a team rep to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Steel, majoring in business administration, also with a 3.98 GPA, scored two goals and notched one assist this season. She played in all 15 games, starting in 13 of those. Steel has been named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll three times, was a CSC Academic All-District honoree last season, and also serves as a team rep to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
