WASHINGTON - For her role in leading American University women's soccer to a pair of shutout victories against Patriot League opponents, sophomore defender Bella Vozar has been named the Gregorio's Trattoria Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of October 14-20.

Vozar played a critical role for the Eagles as she was on the field for every minute of both contests. American kept both Navy and Lehigh scoreless, picking up six total points in the PL standings with a 1-0 win over the Midshipmen and a 2-0 victory at Lehigh. AU faced a total of 17 shots from its opponents, including seven on goal over the two games.

Next up, the Eagles will play their final home game of the regular season, hosting Boston University at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26 at Maryland SoccerPlex.
