- The goals for AU were scored by sophomore Bella Miller and senior Brooke Steel. It was the first career goal for Miller after a near-goal earlier this week at Navy, and the 10th career goal for Steel who now has two this season.

How It Happened
- The second shot on goal for American was the first to go as Miller struck in the 10th minute of play, getting a cross from Kadzban to the far post to beat the keeper.
- Lailah Stewart and Olivia Simmons both had solid chances over the next 20 minutes of the half, with Lehigh's Maggie Ousouljoglou saving both.
- With a minute remaining in the first half, the Eagles got possession in midfield after a free kick for Lehigh.
- Steel corralled it and broke away, taking a shot from 15 yards outside the box that went over the head of Ousouljoglou and into the net with 48 seconds left.
- The Eagles put two more shots on target in the second half, a second from Stewart and another from Avery Klingensmith.
- Lehigh kept AU out of the goal in the final 45, but Kato also made two saves for the Eagles to preserve the shutout.
