Women’s Soccer Drops Sunday Contest to Auburn

WASHINGTON – American University women's soccer's defense held strong for most of the first half, but it could not hold the Auburn University Tigers for all 90 minutes as the Eagles fell Sunday to the Tigers, 3-0.

  • Auburn had a chance to take the lead in the 34th minute but the home team's shot went wide to keep the game scoreless.
