WASHINGTON – American University men's basketball (14-8, 6-5 PL) looks to head back into the win column as the Colgate Raiders (17-7, 11-0 PL) come to Bender Arena on Saturday afternoon. American is coming off a loss to Bucknell on Wednesday while the Raiders have won their last 11-straight games. The Eagles have their eyes on picking up their first win over the Raiders since 2017.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT AMERICAN

• American enters Saturday's game with a 6-5 mark in Patriot League play and are coming off a 78-71 loss to Bucknell on Wednesday. Freshman Geoff Sprouse led American with 16 points while junior Johnny O'Neil recorded a double double with 10 points and a career-high 12 rebounds.
• O'Neil and junior Matt Rogers lead the Eagles in scoring, both averaging in double figures. Rogers leads the way with 13.0 points per game and O'Neil is right behind him with 11.2 points per game. Rogers is ninth in the league in scoring.
• American leads the league in blocks, averaging 4.09 per game, while O'Neil leads the Patriot League with 1.8 blocks per game. The junior recorded three blocks in the Eagles' game against Bucknell moving his season block total up to 36, and putting him in a tie for 10th in the record books for single season blocks.

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT COLGATE

• Colgate enters Saturday's game with a 17-7 overall record and a perfect 11-0 in Patriot League play. The Raiders are coming off a 76-63 win over Loyola Maryland on Monday night and were led by senior Ryan Moffatt with 19 points.
• The Raiders have won 26-straight games over Patriot League opponents, marking the nation's leading conference winning streak. They were a perfect 10-0 in the month of January.
• Colgate leads the league in scoring (77.8 points per game) and assists (17.58 per game). Individually, senior Keegan Records leads the league in field goal percentage (65 percent) while senior Tucker Richardson leads in assists (5.1 per game) and steals (2.2 per game).
