Women’s Soccer Drops Saturday Contest at Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. – American University women's soccer dropped its Saturday afternoon contest at Colgate, 2-0. The Raiders' two goals in the first half proved to be the difference as the Eagles picked up their second league loss of the season.

  • The Eagles looked as if they were going to cut into the home team's lead in the 60th minute, off a shot from junior Giuliana Capraro, but her shot was stopped by the Colgate keeper.
  • American's only other shot of the second half was from McGuire, whose shot went high and to the right.
