Carlie Fikse has been named the
Gregorio's Trattoria Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1. The Eagles beat Coppin State, Lafayette and Lehigh and did not drop a single set to any of them.
Fikse hit .479 for the three matches, averaging 2.78 kills per set and 1.33 blocks per set with a total of 25 kills and 12 blocks. She posted six kills and zero errors in a 3-0 win at Coppin State along with recording a match-high five blocks. In the final match of the week, Fikse totaled a team-high 11 kills to go with a match-high five blocks while hitting .625 in the victory.
The Eagles will play their next four PL matches on the road, starting with a 7 p.m. contest at Loyola Maryland on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
