WASHINGTON – American University men's soccer welcomes the Navy Midshipmen to Reeves on Wednesday, Oct. 18 for a rematch of the 2022 Patriot League Championship game. American enters Wednesday's game in search of its first Patriot League win of the season while Navy is coming off a 1-1 tie with Army on Saturday.

• Three of the Eagles' goaltenders have seen action this season. Sophomore Matthew Tibbetts has seen the most time in goal for the Eagles, making seven starts and securing two wins.
• The Eagles are led by head coach Zach Samol in his fifth season at the head of the program. He is joined on the sidelines by assistant coaches Mike Montross and Patrick Mehlert, and volunteer assistant coach Zach Weidman.

• Navy enters Wednesday's game with a 5-5-3 overall record and a 2-1-2 mark in Patriot League action.
• The Midshipmen are coming off of a 1-1 tie with Army on Friday. Senior David Jackson netted the Midshipmen's lone goal of the game.
• Jackson leads Navy in goals with eight and assists with five. He is second in the league in goals, behind Lafayette's Hale Lombard.
• Junior goalkeeper Pierce Holbrook has been the primary goalkeeper for the Mids this season, making 13 starts and recording 47 saves, five wins and four shutouts.
• The Midshipmen are led by head coach Tim O'Donohue in his eighth season at the head of the program. He is joined on the sidelines by associate head coach Mark Risbridger and assistant coaches Brooks Wilson and Brent Boone.
