• Tim Fitzpatrick earned his fifth and sixth straight wins at 174, beating Sam Barnes 3-2 in the team dual and Nolan Springer 7-3 in an extra countable match following the dual.
• Fitzpatrick now stands at 16-12 overall this season, and is 8-5 at 174 pounds.
• The dual got off to a strong start for AU with the performance of Max Leete (125), who scored a third-period takedown and got the riding time point for a 4-2 win over Brandon Seidman. Leete improved to 15-6 for the season, with a 5-2 mark in dual meet action.
• The Eagles kept it close in a few bouts early on, with Jack Maida (133) falling 7-4 and Patrick Ryan (149) losing by 6-3 decision.
• The team win was decided for Bucknell with a few bouts to go, but Isaac Righter closed out strong for the Eagles for a second straight dual by earning an 8-1 victory over Luke Niemeyer. Righter improves to 12-12 overall and 6-5 in dual meets.

• American will take next weekend off before returning to action for the final two dual meets of the season, both at home. First up is a 7:30 p.m. match against Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 19, followed by a 1 p.m. Senior Day dual against EIWA foe Penn on Sunday, Feb. 20.
