WASHINGTON - For his efforts in being a part of all three goals in a pair of wins for American University men's soccer last week, senior David Coly has been named the GEICO Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 27-Oct. 3.

For the fourth time in five games, Coly found the back of the net in the Eagles' 1-0 win at George Mason on Sept. 28. His ball past the keeper to the bottom left corner in the sixth minute would prove to be the only goal of the contest. On Oct. 2, Coly assisted on both goals in a 2-1 win at Bucknell, extending his point streak to six games. 

Coly is currently ranked second or tied for second in the Patriot League in goals, goals per game and points per game. The Eagles will be back in action at home on Saturday, Oct. 9, facing Boston University at 1 p.m.
