CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Nine members of the American University men's basketball team earned spots on the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, announced by the league on Monday.

Leading the way for the Eagles was Yilret Yiljep, one of 13 players in the league to earn a perfect 4.0 grade point average (GPA). Both Yiljep and Mark Gasperini were named to the honor roll for the fourth time in their careers, joining Jordan Cohen of Lehigh as the only players in the league to do so this season.

To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
