KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the second straight season, Sa'eed Nelson was named First Team All-District by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, as announced by the NABC on Monday.

Nelson is the only American player to earn NABC First Team All-District twice. Vlad Moldoveanu was named First Team All-District in 2011, one year after slotting in at Second Team All-District.
 
The honor adds to an already impressive resume and trophy case for Nelson, which includes Patriot League Player of the Year, two-time First Team All-Patriot League, and American's all-time scoring title.
 
American is in District 13, which consists of all Patriot League and Ivy League institutions. Nelson joins Max Mahoney (Boston University) and Jordan Burns (Colgate) as PL players to receive First Team distinction. This year's six All-District selections are tied for the most by the Patriot League in one season. The League also featured six selections following the 2012-13 season.

The All-District teams are voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division I.
